What product is better for pontoon boat vinyl seat treatment: Meguiars or 3M 303?

Thanks

I used some LA Awesome and a new sponge Jillie found...it's called a "Scrub It Quick Eraser"...I couldn't believe that it got off mildew stains that had been there since we bought it 3yrs ago...there's a white spongie side and a rubbery/vinyl side(blue)...I used the blue side and almost spilled my beer it was that good :drink4

I do something similar to oldcoot, and then use 303 after.

I'm a big Meguiars fan. When I first applied the stuff it didn't seem to get all the mold off so I thought it was crap. I went back to the marine store I bought the stuff from and told the guy that it didn't get all the mold off. He told me it works over time and sure enough, I went back to the boat the following week and the mold just vanished. Not even a hint of mold. Been using it ever since with no mold and the vinyl seems soft and factory new.

Are you saying you just wipe it on and leave it and it does the work for you? Is 303 the same way? Or do you have to clean the vinyl until you're satisfied then 'lock in the freshness' with the 303?

West Marine sells it around here and every marina, but they jack the price up.
