If its open ended (just a roof and sides covered) a 24x30 would work just fine. That's the size I WAS looking at but I can't find a prefab wider than 14' that will handle the snow load where I live so I'm just saving pennies to stick build a 30x40, already have a 28x52  A 24' will be around 23' inside which will leave you with around 6' to play with, 2' for getting out of the RV, 2' between the two, and 2' on the other side of the pontoon.

From an economical standpoint, I'd go with 24 wide and 40 long. I've got a 24' boat and on the trailer with the engine, I'm pushing 32 feet - from hitch to prop. You've got to add at least 3 to 4 feet on the camper for the hitch. You could go with 35 long, but the extra 5 feet shouldn't be that much. The cost really jumps up when you get wider than 24 feet. Regarding the height - you've got to go with 12 feet. Most campers are going to be 8.5 feet wide and many pontoon boats are 8.5 feet wide. That 17 feet total with 8 feet wiggle room - you can cheat (depending upon how well you are at parking/backing) to the outside and still have access as the sides are open and the middle should have plenty room between boat and camper. If you're going to purchase before at least one or both toys, go with the longer option
