If it saves just one young life, it is certainly worth it.
The Water Patrol (now Marine Division of Missouri Highway Patrol) certainly has their hands full at Lake of the Ozarks trying to cover about 1,200 miles of shoreline with less than 20 folks on the water at any one time. Many are stationed close to party cove, where the bulk of the problems occur.
You have my respect for the job you do. It's amazing that more people aren't injured or killed, especially on holiday weekends like the one coming up.
