Wow, I cant believe the dealer can just wash his hands with this. He made the sale , he got the commission, and his JOB is to continue with customer support whenever you should need it. HE is the GO BETWEEN for you and the manufacturer. That is why he exists. If he does not want to hold up his end of the bargain then give the commission monies back to you and deal with the manufacturer directly. WTF!!!!!

Not to hijack this thread, but I am so Fu#$%^ pissed off at the lack of customer service in this world. It seems all the consumer gets are promises, scare tactics, pushy salesman etc etc, and after the money has changed hands it is buyer beware...BULLSHIT.

I say put the name of the dealer out there so the rest in your area can take note. Its just not right. You owe him nothing. I know you are taking the high road, and I commend you on that, but maybe you could save someone else who has not made a purchase. This forum reaches far and wide. Teach that ass### a lesson in customer service.

Had 1/2 a tank of gas in my Tracker when I dropped it off for warranty work. A week later I picked it up on my way to a week long vacation at the lake. Got it in the water... empty. At first I thought something was wrong with gauge. Nope. It was empty. The response I got from the sales manager was basically sucks for you $hit happens. Oh, also, apparently mine isn't the first instance of this happening in their lot.

The responses I have received indicate that my experience is not an anomaly. The boat selling business must be good if you don't have to worry about word of mouth or return customers.

Just to bring an end, the boat arrived today with a brand new log. Tracker paid for my driver to haul it back and also paid for my family to use a rental boat over the weekend. As far as Tracker goes I was pretty happy, not so happy to be in this spot with a brand new boat, but time to move forward and enjoy the water.
