I've got one.....
Took the family out a couple weeks ago for an afternoon ride. I was all excited because this would've been the first time out in an early afternoon since getting the boat. We had discussed a way to quicken up our launch. My youngest son (22) would pull the truck out after I launched. I back the boat down to the water and he took over. I felt the boat float and held him there. Fired up after a few seconds, warmed her up a bit then placed her into reverse.... She didn't move, ok a little more throttle.... still didn't move. She was trying but just wouldn't go. Had the boy back up and try to pop it off the trailer with me giving it throttle..... nope still didn't move. I'm thinking what the heck. I know I took th estraps off the stern, but looked anyway. Yup I removed them. Ok back her up some more, still wouldn't move. From about 50 yards away my Daughter-n-Law yells is that rope supposed to be tied up? What? Yup I had a dock line that was tied to the trailer..... DUH!
