My toon rail came pre-mounted for smaller fenders, but I needed my larger one. I had picked up some of those Taylor clips for the larger black fenders.

Clips worked great .. until, the floating dock I had tied up to at the ramp started rocking and rolling against a big wake. I heard a pop. Something when sailing over our heads and splashed the water. The Taylor clip went flying and my fender was floating under a rocking dock.

I never fished out the Taylor clip to see where it could have broken. Hard to believe that big old figure-8 knot slipped through the hole. That leaves me 3 Taylor clips to loose. Keep that boat hook handy!

I have some EzFenders here at the house yet, if you need them. Production is back in business and I'll be back online very shortly, now that the wife is almost done with her treatments. If you're from Canada, you can contact Carrie at West Hawk Marine, they are a vendor of mine, as well as Ty at PontoonStuff.
I'll have some used ones shortly, we sold our place at Lake of the Ozarks and I'm pulling the 8 from my slip that I used to use. Very Handy mounted to the uprights!

Bryan, I'd love to get my hands on a set of ezfenders. If you have some available, please let me know. What changes are you making for the new run, and do you have an approximate release date and price?

The changes will be very minute at first, just a different anodizer. I am gearing up early fall to have them extruded instead of milled. I am still working on a possible design change, before spending the money on the casting mold. I do have some here at the house. If interested, give me a yell! I'll make ya a good deal on what I have.

I've decided to take the cheap route. I leave the fender, rope and $0.99 carabiner together in the ski locker. I have the small velcro cable ties (very strong yellow from Marine West $0.99) hung all around the rails at strategic spots. I simply hook the biner into one wherever needed. It's simple, fast, cheap and very secure. We have never had the big Taylor Made fender come loose. Marine West used to have the yellow cable ties at the front counter.
