We actually had a theme and our boats name picked from a song that always brought us around to a "better frame of mind".

When we purchased our boat last fall, my wife and I decided to spend a few days on it before we named her so we could truly catch her personality with the name. After 3 beautiful, but windy Ohio October days, we decided to name her "the blueberry" in the text used for the title of the USA network's series "Psych". In the show Shawn and Gus mount their trusty Toyota Yaris that they lovingly call "the blueberry" which is the same color as our toon's major color (blue). The car is not super fast but always comes through for them in whatever adventure they may find themselves. I am designing an aluminum box to store our fishing poles on the back rail which I hope will provide a perfect place to put our name and maybe kill some of the motor noise for the people that are sitting in the back bench seat. "the blueberry" will be book-ended by pineapples. If you are not a fan of the show, you will not understand, but we like it. And we love our boat! Official naming ceremony when we complete the nameplate, but she knows her name. :biggrin2

We haven't named ours yet (never came up with a name for the Four Winns in 11 years), but since we never could agree on a suitable name for it, maybe "Can't Agree" would fit?

We haven't picked it up yet, but just purchased a 2012 Bentley Encore SE 24 ft.

Thinking of naming it "Our other Bentley"......

Me and the kids like to catfish from our Triton so I wanted to name it "Just Juggin" but the wife shot it down. :( So the name search continues...

This was a toughie for me. I'm very "old school" when it comes to boats. You build a boat, put the name on the hull and christen it, simple. Well this is my first pontoon. What are you to do with a vessel with 2 hulls???? Port side toon "Thing 1" and starboard side toon "Thing 2". Problem solved !!

Well, I spent the first summer of ownership under my tritoon wiring up chargers (AC & DC) for 4 batteries (all in new locations), a trolling motor and anchor winch, charplotter/fishfinder, etc. The underskinning made running the wires a real B :censored. I figured we had to name her to change my luck. So, since I live on a bayou - MISS BAYOU B she is - officially christened (and broken in :thumbsup)! Since I have to get past the Coast Guard and all the various lake patrol agencies, I decided not to draw anymore attention to myself.

Todd

EDIT: Apparently I can't spell my own boat's name!
