Looking to buy a humminbird 587 can anyone give me any feedback on this unit

The GPS looks to be a bit faster on yours and the price looks real good. Has the same transducer that we have found works just perfectly at all speeds mounted on the transom just in front of the motor except in reverse.

Don't know how you plan on mounting it but we used the light duty Ram Mount which works great.
