Measure bimini top

Ok, I have the top off and have measured it, but cant seem to find a replacement top cloth that is the same size as mine, So Im thinking I am measureing it wrong.. I came up with 8 1/2 wide by 9 long.. most widths on the tops dont seem to be that wide.. How should I measure this thing.

I have never measured mine but as a guess the width is over hang on each side, I am going to replace mine later this year but I will have it made at a local shop.

Should be 8x8, the toon is 8.5 but the fence width is 8 foot

I'm not sure about replacement fabric measurements.... but, when i ordered a entire new bimini, the measurement to use was 'rail to rail'... 8' 6".

Ok, on the 8x8 does that have over hang on it, or is the 8x8 including the overhang.. Because the mesurments I took of mine were from the start of the fabric to the end on the width and from the start of the curve on the from to the end of the other frame not counting the zipper part that curvs over.. Some have said that the 8x8 dont it correctly and they have had to tie it to the frame.

Ok Pontoon Stuff sells both sizes, 8 and 8.5, i ordered the 8 x 10 for mine, my fences are sat three inches in so that makes me 8 foot wide at the fence, but go measure your fence to make sure.
