What's the plans for the Transom/thrid log? since I see it wasn't replaced prior to laying the new deck

Picked up a new transom from a custom pontoon builder up here, the way my channels are shaped, it will allow it to easily be bolted up, even with the decking on. I decided to replace the existing one with one that was a bit bulkier, I am also pulling it towards the back of the boat a bit so that I could run a full sheet of plywood back there and not notch it for the engine.
