brought her home today

Got a call yesterday that i had 48 hours to get my boat off the lake. The NPS
runs whiskeytown lake an with the gov. shutdown get her out or leave it. Clean up starts tomorrow. old jim :x

Naw not that bad. 15 april to 15 october for us seasonal folks. I don't know when the marina folks bailed, but one of my fenders went missing. And i don't understand why the shutdown affected them. The marina is run by a cocessionare.What the hell, started on the motor, the lower half is all brown and green so i used simple green. old jim :biggrin2

That's a relief. I was getting a bit concerned about them, thinking things might get pretty tight for the lawmakers with the shutdown.

How about this: Congress and the President should be the FIRST to stop getting paid when they screw up like they are, and the last Federal employees to be paid.
Way off the pontoon topic but somethings need to be said.
