Tilt and Trim question?

Does anyone know if the tilt and trim from a 1988 Johnson 40HP VRO will fit a 1989 Johnson 35 HP? My friend and I just bought the 35 for $600 as a replacement for the 40 and the 35 doesn't have T & T but the 40 does. :donno

yeah it should i have a 1989 90 hp and all the parts on the 87 to 89 will fit it.
