Maiden voyage of the season

#1 Post by OK Toon » Tue May 06, 2014 9:31 am

Finally had some free time at the lake this past weekend so the Admiral and I decided to take the toon out for the first time this season. This past winter was the first time we have left the toon on the lift all winter. I left the motor tilted down so any rain would not freeze -- only the bottom of the skeg still touched the water. I lowered the lift and after a few squeezes on the fuel ball I turned the key and was delighted to hear the wonderful sounds of the engine running. :prayer

I had to admit I was a little nervous since this is just our 2nd full season to have our "new to us" toon - and I didn't do anything to the boat at the end of last season except clean the seats before we put the cover on it for the winter. We had a great afternoon cruising around the lake. :biggrin2
