Subwoofer box and amp quick disconnect suggestions

Hello all. First post here. Been watching for months and I enjoy reading the topics and everyone's replies. My lake, Buckeye Lake 30 minutes east of Columbus, OH, will be unusable for a couple years while the dame is replaced. I have a plan to put a new subwoofer, box and amp in my pontoon. My question is since my boat stays outside at all times, is there some sort of quick disconnect someone out there uses where I can easily remove my sub box where the amp will be mounted to that would include the power and ground wire along with the remote wire? I will want to remove the box after I use it and I don't know what the best way is to quickly do that.

I would use something like a trolling motor quick connect plug. Lots of options, such as:

Thank you for the reply. I think that is along the lines of what I am looking for but more stereo based. I know it will need to have a larger gauge wire capabilities.

So...what gauge wire do you intend to run between your box and amp? What gauge wire do you plan to run between your box and the power supply? What size of amp are you using? You aren't really providing enough info to give better insight into the solution.

Good question. The amp is a 5 channel Kicker amp. It is 500 watts total. I will run 4 gauge to the amp from the battery/fuse.

I did this in my Manitou, I hooked up the power, ground and speaker inputs, outputs to 2, 7 wire trailer plug and outlets. Worked great for me...
