Great day at the lake

#1 Post by TDJ2591 » Sat Jun 06, 2015 6:13 pm

Well, the kids, grandkids and best friends all had conflicts so the Admiral and I went out by ourselves. The weather was georgeous and we ran her about 4 hours!

Only downside is one of my batteries is completely dead. And, I couldn't install the new SS prop because it didn't come with a rear thrust washer. The current prop doesn't use one. The marina's mechanic didn't have a washer/spacer and all the nearby boat shops were closed. So, I had to put the orignal prop back on. The problem is we won't be able to go back to the lake for over a month and then it will be too late to return the prop if I don't like it.

I need a thrust washer for a Honda 135 (18mm shaft).
