Possibly replacing floor
Thinking about replacing my carpeting with vinyl flooring, I like the look of PlasDECK synthetic teak but the only contractor I can find around here in Eastern Ontario wants close to $65 sqft to install, I know I cannot do it myself so that is out of the question, with that in mind I am curious should I leave the furniture in or clear the whole deck

Re: Possibly replacing floor
My toon came with the vinyl. The furniture is on it and is "Spaced" which allows for drainage without soaking the contents.
I'd think that if you were replacing the flooring on your boat, pull the furniture, lay the flooring and then replace the furniture.
But that's just my opinion and I didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Look around on the web, a site has it for about $1000, for a 25' boat. Ask a local upholestrer to see how much he'll charge. I would even go so far as ask a handyman how much 10 hrs would be.
Worst case go to a local fire station and ask if any guys have the skills to do it. Guarantee one somebody knows a guy.
