Hello All.
This is the lake my family and I do 99% of our boating on... Beautiful lake with lots to offer. We all know how wonderful boating is, especially on a pontoon boat but I hope you don't mind a reminder that it is dangerous too and we need to be prepared and safe. I have been on this awesome site for quite a while now (haven't asked to get into the "NHB" area yet...

) and know there are many God fearing, patriotic and passionate people here so I ask you to join me in praying for this little guy who was killed and his whole family as they deal with this unthinkable tragedy.
Sincerely,
Rich

So sorry to read this.
Similar thing happened at my lake about 15 years ago. Children were sitting on front porch dangling their feet in the water while underway. Something happened(wake?) and one fell in between the toons. He was hit by the motor and died in front of his family and friends. His dad was driving and probably never got over it.
Don't ever let people -- especially children -- ride outside the playpen while underway. $200 fine here.

That's awful, We've had 3 drownings this week. A father jumped in the river to save his 10 year old son and they both drowned. people don't realize the power of the current till its to late. The other, A 63 year old had his steering cable snap and in he went. the boat went in circles with his dog in it till it ran out of gas. they didn't find him for 4 days.I think we all know how dangerous it is but sometimes take it for granted. Be safe.
