Do any of you trailer your toon with the mooring cover on?
If it would stay on, I would love to keep all the road grime off my clean seats when taking my boat to the lake!
My cover has about a million snaps holding it on, cant see how it could come off?

I agree with you Mike, it for sure will keep the seats clean..
However, the experience I have is that the front part of the mooring cover takes a lot of wind load and starts to stretch..It can rip open the stiching seam...I was so concerned the first time I hauled my little pontoon that I quit doing it..Some rags and a spray bottle took care of the darn bugs..
You also need to constantly observe how this cover is behaving at 60/65 MPH.
Of course driving 45/50 might do the trick..

Just sitting in the driveway last year, a normal West Texas wind tore my cover all to hell. We are talking sustained of about 30 with gusts over 50. I'm not sure the cover could handle the constant 40-60mph wind on the hwy. And I sure would hate to be behind someone when the cover came off and landed on my windshield.

For short trips from the storage building to the ramp, we leave our mooring cover on. That bieng said, the speed does not get above 35 mph. Never try and tow on the interstate with a mooring cover.
