Yes I have one and love it. It really holds the boat.

I don't have one, but my friend does, he bought it for his old Bayliner and is using now with his Axis Wakeboard boat, he loves it. The only issue that he has with the one that he bought is that it is galvanized and the galvanization caused the pin that allows the box anchor to fold/collapse is very tight and sometimes he has to smack it around a little bit to get it to losen up. I see that the new ones are available in Stainless.

Is that second picture something that you made or is that product available somewhere?

The second pic is some box anchors a guy was selling on another forum, and had a couple of other guys chime in saying they used them and they worked great. I assume he makes them.

Look like they would be much better used on sandy bottoms?

Pretty good video explaining the box anchor. I sure like the way it folds flat too. Think I'm gonna try one.

I'm on #2 on my second boat. Holds great. Make sure the rope is attached before you throw it overboard $$$$$.

Absolutely love my box anchor! Pricey but am glad I did it....no chain required...drop it and your done! I have an anchor buddy attached to mine and it gives us a little movement while coving out....highly highly recommend!!!!

A lot of the boats on our lake use them. I just bought mine based upon the recommendations from several friends - haven't had the opportunity to use it yet but everybody who's used them says they hold better than any other type of anchor.

I own one of their Shore Spikes and use it quite often. The "slide hammer" action makes it very easy to get in and out of the ground.
