Yeah, I know, that's dangerous...
I actually posess the knowledge and the ability to build the control circuitry to drive two electric trolling motors - one off each outboard toon - to make a very agile low speed maneuvering system for my toon. Yaw with zero forward velocity. Maintaining steerage at low speed is the key to easy launch and recovery at low speed - or in a crosswind, etc. Oh, I'm going to just have to think this out for a year or two.

Hey Bob, it sounds like you might be in the process of the first DP pontoon boat. We see a lot of that here in the oilfield with the big supply boats and deep water rigs. when you get to position, press the hold button, and it says in that exact location. I bet it would make fishing easy.
