Thanks all! Unsure of the product name, but it appears to be similar to the PlasTeak vinyl product. I'll have to grab my old samples of that and see if they match the boat. Our vinyl is texturized pretty well (no slips), and it does get a little warm when in the sun all day, but I think all floor products do to an extent.

Just curious but is boat carpet any different than outdoor carpet? I'm not asking to cheap out--OK that was my original thought but I found I can get the best stuff at Pontoonstuff for about the same price as the big box store.

I could understand vinyl being very different and the price difference justified. Vinyl flooring isn't common outside and it'd be real disappointing to put in the time & effort only to see it yellow & crack in a couple years from not having adequate UV protection.

Was it the stock (from South Bay) vinyl? If so they have it listed on their webpage under options.

The only manufacture I know of now that uses Alum flooring is Veranada Toons. I know that I love my Tracker with the alum floor.

Thanks for the compliment. We absolutely love it! You are correct on the color/style name. The only option on the price sheet is for the stern floor vinyl. Which is is about 2' of vinyl, then it transitions into carpet.

I have aluminum flooring and I have not problems, its underskinned and carpeted up top. Other than some flex popping noises when it warms up or cools off its been solid! I love the idea that I will never have to worry about my boat floor rotting away. :nana
