You know....BassFrequency? The guy with the loudest fricken boat stereo on the planet? :guitar
Haven't seen him around in quite some time. I miss pickin up tips from him.
I'm determined to catch up someday, now that I'm about to have the weight capacity for all the amps :scared

First of all, please don't take me too seriously, because I NEVER do.
Secondly, even tho I have a big ol' stereo doesn't mean that I have to use it all day. I am very respectful of all around me. I spend much of my time in a national park and could never get away with disturbing the critters, nor would I want to. HOWEVER, when I am miles offshore on my extremely large lake...running at speed with a fairly loud motor to contend with....I reserve the right to turn it up any danged way that I please.
Thirdly, being a musician, I truly appreciate fine sound. It is very difficult to achieve this with a small stereo (although there have been some major gains in the past few years). The best sound is always delivered by a large stereo running at nearly idle. I am especially careful with the bass controls, as I know how far this can carry.

A friend of mine(god rest his soul) was a drummer and he taught me to turn it up. You can't hear the high's and low's turned down.

My lake is called "lawn" where I park my trailer. I visit a few local lakes, and she spends a week or two on my Grandparents dock on Vermilion every year. I PLAN on keeping the toon tunes "mild" with 4 Polk 6.5" off a Kenwood U700 media unit. I use to be into high powered Sound quality setups in cars though! My 96' Supercharged Tbird probibly had my nicest setup, a Kenwold eXcelon feeding an Mtx 4300x powering Mtx Black Gold componets and a 2300x thumping 2 T7000 10" sealed subs.......... 10+ years later is still CLEAN and loud, the good old USA made MTX stuff, not the crap they make now.

I prefer the Nano hooked to these...
http://kenrockwell.com/audio/audio-technica/ath-m50.htm

That way, you can have the music as load as you can handle it without scaring the critters.

I've been wondering about BassFrequency too.
