I wonder why someone would go to the expense and trouble to bring it to LOTO and then not run it? I would think it would be better suited to the Great Lakes or East/West/Gulf coasts.
Of course, I wonder at folk who operate 44', 54' and larger boats here!

Center consoles are getting a big foothold here and my guess is that Cigarette wanted to show off their wares.

What happens at the lake stays at the lake. Unless I have my camera handy.

Yes, you are correct. A South Bay with triple Merc. 300 XS's. I wonder how long the Binimi's would last if they were up at 100 plus :biggrin2

Maybe he has special heavy duty bimini's. Designed by a rocket scientist and a witch doctor. Give him just that last little bit of lift 8)

Does anybody have any still shots (or links) of this beast?? Especially on the trailer?

Rumor has it, and I have seen the video. He came very close to blowing over at 112 mph. They said that was the only run he made as he kinda scared hi

We were there and saw the run. You guys are right, the front end really lifted about 3/4 of the way down the course. Scary stuff for sure! That video above is the same guy, and a South Bay, but I am pretty sure he was running a newer South Bay this year. That video is from years ago. We happen to see it on the trailer that morning as he was headed to launch it and I think it is a new one.

Found another action shot of Tooned In. I think it's the old boat.

This just gives me more motivation to kick ass and finish my 925. I'm still guessing next spring, but you never know. Maybe the snow will hold off until December. :prayer

My guess is that the longer he runs, the faster he'll go since the boat is quickly loosing weight due to fuel sucking out the exhaust! That vid looks pretty scary and I was always wondering when a toon would lift enough to flip. saying all of that, I would still like to drive one long enough to scare the go-fast boats on our lake.
