Eye Bolt was attached to first cross beam, when loading toon pulled eye hook out of cross beam and broke cross beam clean through. Any info on repairing cross beam? Thank You.

You can usually shove in another stringer next to the one you have. I beefed up the back of mine where the motor pod goes with an additional 2" square tube.
You should have a member going fore and aft, catching several stringers for the front eye. I used 2 pieces of 2x3 1/4" angle about an inch apart running 4' down the bottom of the boat with a 3/8" bolt between them in front to catch the hook.

How old is your toon? The above picture looks like a way to go. you must have really been pulling on the wench strap to do what you did.

Re: Damaged Cross Beam
You know, if i had one complaint about my bennington when I got it, it was that the 'hook' for the winch strap was way back up under the boat, not accessable to me when up i'm up on the deck... the first year I had it I mentioned to the dealership that I was going to add an "eye hook" at the front of the boat.. they advised me that if anything broke or gave way it would not be covered under the warranty, and that was why the hook was located back further under the boat where it came to a " T "..... so now after I pull the boat up on the trailer, my wife just steps out on the trailer and hooks up the strap.... but it sure would be nice to be able to reach it at the front.

Re: Damaged Cross Beam
It seems like you would want to have someone weld as much of the broken crossmember as possible. I don't know how close to the top of the break you could get with a tig welder without running the risk of damaging the underside of the deck, but anything would be better than nothing. Then add the square tube as Greg suggested for additional strength.
