Advice on these two props?

So after reading the very helpful threads as a newb it sounds like a good idea to carry an extra prop. I have a Mercury Verado 150 and went to the Merc Prop web site. After going through here prop selector it came up with the following two props. Does anyone have advice on which one would be best or one you would avoid? As always thank you or any advice!

First before we buy what about the prop you're currently using? Is or are you propped right for your setup now? If so I'd suggest buying or duplicating your current prop. If not now is the time to attempt to "get her right" with purchasing a new one. And now secondly just what prop and pitch are you using now? A baseline is more or less necessary to any suggestion I'd make anyway..

+1 on what Bamby said. What's on there now and what's your WOT and speed? I have the 15 pitch Enertia and love it. With the Verado you might want to try the 16p Enertia but we need the other questions answered first.

I did follow the advice received here about rpm's and proper trim and I think it is pretty good. Top speed is around 36 mph with my Verado 150 ...my boat is a 25 foot tritoon.

My Enertia smokes my Mirage Plus on my Verado. Both are 18's. Holeshot, Top end and Fuel economy are all better with the Enertia. They cost alittle more $, but are worth it, in my opinion.

The Enertia is the standard of the industry for pontoon boat props. The rest are copies of that prop.

My next door neighbor has the same boat and engine as you, and he has a 14 pitch Enertia prop. My Bennington with a Yamaha F150 runs a 15 pitch prop.

What's nice about the Enertia is that it's available in one inch increments, so you can get the boat totally dialed in. I vote for a 15 pitch Enertia.

One suggestion is to buy it from where you bought your boat originally, with the ability to trade it for another prop if you're not able to pull the red line at full throttle.

Boat manufacturers know what props are best for different hulls and engine combinations. Call Harris customer service and ask for their learned opinion.
