First Time Out next Weekend

Looks like the ice is off most of the lakes, at least the one I am going to. I have to put the batteries in the Pontoon tomorrow and it will be ready to go. Picked up some new digs on Friday,packed it today. Suppose to be plus 20 all next weekend, and my grandkids are coming along............life is good.

Had a great weekend, a couple small showers but overall the weather was nice. The fish were not that big, but the smiles were, mine anyway. The new rig worked well, looking forward to more trips this summer. Now its time to chase some walleye!

I unloaded and loaded it one day, and then the cousin came down and we used his truck.
