We went from a tw ologger to a three logger. I would never go back.

The price does not seem out of line. To me it is worth it to pay a little extra for a boat that si well taken care of.

I sent her an e-mail asking to come look at it tomorrow....

Of course I'll try to negotiate, but have the intention of paying what they are asking... :prayer

She's not answering e-mails. She did said something about a fundraiser at her house today involving 100 people arriving though.

Benningtons are a good solid purchase. I just traded a 3 year old one for more than what I had in it. They retain value for a reason. Well built. For that kind of scratch, I'd say its a fair deal. You should do well wiith that setup as long as it performs to your expectations. Don't expect a speed demon. 25mph GPS speed will about do it. Taken care of, it will last a long time, or run it for a couple of seasons and flip it for even money and upgrade.

Not concerned with speed at all. The Party Cruiser maxed out at 18 MPH, lol. I'm more concerned about deck space. When you look at it, the Bennington has more open space that the PC did.

I have a 2275RL and love it. I have it docked and it has become the "go to boat" to hang out on. My best friends down there have a 36' Holiday Mansion house boat, a party cruiser, 28' Regal cruiser, and a 25' Harris Float Boat. The openness of the layout allows for all of us to be able to be on the boat and not be on top of each other. The movable seat is also great. On the side when under way, in front when at the dock. Not a speed demon, but very comfortable, you can feel and see the quality of build throughout.

I really like that movable seat idea.

Looks like a good deal on a nice toon! Will need underskinning but that should be no big deal to add. Hope it checks out! Good Luck!

It would be great if they'd respond to e-mails, ugh. After I said I was a mechanic, etc. she stopped responding. She was also a little too insistent it wasn't used in saltwater even though they live right on the bay where it becomes a bit salty...said they just move there and used to live near the upper bay (that is freshwater).

Also weren't thrilled about asking for a sea trial. :donno , red flag #2.

Trailer looked rusty as if it had been used in salt though.

Can't tell further unless I see it in person though... :donno

Seems like her only concern should be have you got the money and when can you pick it up
