They are actually closing Bagnell Dam for spectators to view the races from there. I may be wrong but I believe it is the first time ever....

My money is on the 112mph pontoon to go faster....can they hit 120? That's freaking fast!

youd think this being the first sanctioned toon event would bring out all the manuf, maybe some of the big dogs will showup even tho justa trophy and braging rights, like the old auto mentality race on sunday sale on monday

Looking to see Playcraft come back after last year's disappointing performance at the shootout. 2011 boat went over 100, last year could not break 90. A course with turns could very well favor other designs like Manitou and Premier, if they participate. More emphasis on driving skill also.

Suppose He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named will be there with his amazing anti-gravity pontoon devices???
