Drain plug?

Still a total newbie here. Keep seeing posts with references to a drain plug. What is it? Where is it? What do you do with it?

It is what you pull to turn your boat into a submarine. I saw someone do that at a dock once with a new to him deckboat.

It is typically on the back lower part of each pontoon and you should not have to do anything with it unless you have problems and suspect you have water in your toons.

Most likely, talking about a drain plug in each pontoon tube. Some have them, some don't and some people have them added. They are at the back on the tubes at the lowest point. That way you can drain water that may get inside the tubes due to a leak or condensation.

:donno Are ya frickin kiddin? Its to keep the oil in the oil pan! If ya get your oil changed at WalMart, they just leave it out and let ya drive away. Why change the oil when you can get a new engine free from PukeMart!

That happened to my Mother a few years ago. Assholes left her drain plug out and she drove 12 miles before her Nissan quit. Wal-Mart sent their 17 year old manager out, just in time for me to get there. :rofl

He was telling Mom he was going to put a new drain plug and oil in ans send her on her way :x :x :x Oh and no rental car...

So I tell the little twerp that not only are they replacing the motor and giving her a rental car..like yesterday, I am taking HIS car and making him walk back to Wal-Mart.

Rental within an hour and $4500 total damage...lol.
