Helps low speed handling a bunch, and almost turns it into a jet drive, you can get in low water and tilt it up and it will jet you through the low stuff.

You do lose a mile an hour on the top end, but gain all kind of protection for your prop and anything swimming around it, I hit a 10 foot gator on night with the nose cone and the engine, he did bend the guard in and I got a gouge in it from the prop, but the prop and the gator were fine, I guess there still for boats doing under 25 MPH

I have one I bought a few years ago, I bought a new motor before I got a chance to install it. If anyone wants it, let me know. Lets say $40 + shipping'

Would that work with my I/o mercury mercruiser 135hp 3.0? I have no idea what size my prop is....

I'd take it if it would work....

Red is a 14 inch and it won't work on a boat that goes over 25 MPH or with a prop bigger thatn 13.5 Dia

It thought they were all just a plain SS hoop. Does it matter what kind of prop guard to get the handling advantage?
