I am going to take you up on that soon. Got a "confirmation of shipment" email from Amazon, for the glue.
But then 2 hours later:

Hello,
We regret to inform you that the item you have ordered (3 of Dap 00443 Weldwood Outdoor Carpet Adhesive, Gallon) is banned from being shipped to your location and this order has been processed in error. However, Model#12185 (GAL H663 OD CPT ADHESIVE) is a suggested alternate. Please advise if you would like us to cancel the order or send the suggested alternate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

It turns out, I can get that glue locally for a better price. So, I cancelled my order and am heading to the store tomorrow. If the rain showers can hold off for the weekend, project deck install will continue. I hope this glue works.
So, I did more research on the "Model#12185 (GAL H663 OD CPT ADHESIVE)" that they recommended me to use instead of the DAP 443 product that I wanted. The replacement glue is not waterproof, but water resistant. I read a test and looked at some pictures of someone who glued carpet to plywood and then soaked it in water for a few hours. After soaking it, he said he could pull the carpet off easily. Well, that stuff is out, I guess. :censored
I found that it is legal to ship the DAP glue to West Virginia. I placed an order for it, to a hardware store in Martinsburg, WV. I guess I will take the 2.5 hour drive there, when it arrives. The website said it would take a week.
I guess that moves me back a week in this race to launch! :drink4

I'm still trying to understand this "boating season" thing I keep reading about. There is not a month out of the year mine doesn't get wet. If the ice is think enough to break with the trailer, we set out.

Well, I had it running :nana , scared the crap out of the neighbor, started it with no mufflers :rofl . ran it, set the timing, ran it some more, got the drive on, prop, vacuumed carpet, all the seats installed. Everything was great. Hooked up the truck, tapped the key to make sure all was still good, fired right up. Didnt have the water hooked up, so shut it down right away. towed it down to the lake, backed it into the water, ,and IT WONT START! No spark. Right now, I cant even look at it im so pissed. JT
