Re: flag mount
I use the Overton's model when cruising...however when coving out or sloooow cruising I use this. The stand sldes under my back storage compartment and I set my 6 gallon spare gas tank on top of it for extra weight, though it would stay without it. I can then mount two full size flags on it. It works great!

Re: flag mount
Had wondered how I was going to mount my flags - but didn't want to spend $40 a pop for two "pontoon flag masts". Since I have a hardtop on my boat, using zip ties on the rear, and even front legs of the hardtiop (if I get crazy with flags....) is going to be this cheapskates answer.....OK Toon wrote:Hi went real hi-tech redneck for our flag mounts. I used 4 zip-ties on the back bimini post. I put 2 zip-ties on the post. Then I used the other 2 zip-ties to loop under the zip-ties on the post and then through the grommets on the flags. This allows the flags to "wave" in the breeze. I can get pictures if anyone wants to try this hi-tech approach
Thanks for the idea!!

Re: flag mount
I already had the flag and anchor light flag pole from my old boat. So i went the affordable route and got the PVC and hose clamps to hold the tube up.

Thanks, Mike
