Most of the grand kids are coming over to swim in the pool-
The wife is working ( L and D nurse )
Ill be cooking and probably laughing until the wife gets home-
Then we are going out to lake Waxahachie to watch fireworks from the water for the first time from the toon.
I often wonder if Jimmy really did crack corn, and why should I care?

Heading out tonight for small fireworks show on the lake. Up early on the water to watch the cardboard boat races in the AM followed by a drunk day down at the beach I'm sure.

Sitting in lower eastern Ky for our family reunion, got plenty of fireworks to fuse together and even got some e-match so I can use our remote firing system too, should have got some coffee creamer to make a creamora pot.

A little bit of black power for lift under the coffee creamer makes a nice fire ball

3 towns have fireworks displays in our county, on different days. 2 of them cancelled due to extreme weather (heavy t-storms, tornado threats). The one in Chesapeake City is still on :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Sunday, doing a "ghost tour" of Fort Delaware (Pea Patch Island). :paranoid

Tried to go last Sunday but our weather cancelled all tours (ferry goes out to the island 4x a day).

Whatever the best day weather-wise is, headed out on the Bohemia. :thumbsup

We will be staying at State Park campground. We usually hang out, tube and :drink :bier around the Dam area. I keep the toon in a shed right off 7 Hwy, on AA. I sometimes put in at Berry Bend and Bucksaw area if I am in the mood to fish. They will be shooting Fireworks off the Dam Saturday night July 6th.

No boating on the 4th for us... instead going to have a long "day trip".... driving 140 miles south to visit the kids and the grandbaby.... after dinner, about 8 or 9 pm we'll jump back in the car and drive 140 miles north back home.... makes for a lot of driving in one day but gotta go back to work friday... it's worth it to see little Cooper. Everyone please have a safe holiday....

Of course, I have to finish my work day first.

Gonna stay off the water today...the huge firework show on the river at Peoria draws thousands and it's share of boneheads....tomorrow morning out early to catch some channel cat, home to nap and rest of the afternoon/evening on a pleasure cruise....
