Anchor roller...how many of use them?

#1 Post by SoCalAngler » Sat Jul 06, 2013 10:43 am

I was thinking of adding a roller to the bow of my toon. I hate to have a toe stubber mounted to deck, but I think the added efficiency to raising and lowering the anchor line outweighs that inconvenience.

This is the one I was thinking of adding....
Thoughts?

I like it. you might be able to mount it under the deck to prevent the toe stubber affect. depends on ur boat deck though.

I use one as well, it lets me mount the anchor line cleat off center and still have the anchor line run straight off the centerline for best ride at anchor.

Where are you guys storing your anchors? I use the bumper box in the rear but it would be nice to have an automatic type off the front deck, underslung of course...
