didn't not take care of our seats

#1 Post by Chris.and.jamie » Wed Jul 10, 2013 5:01 am

Ok doesn't matter what happened I know but just so yall don't think we just didn't care our hoa told us we couldn't store the boat in the driveway, my uncle saud I could kee st his place. Sometime during the off season anf judging by the looks pretty early into it the cover got blown off. Well no one told us or put it back on, so things look bad the boat is only 3 years old anf the seats on my 93 bass boat aren't this bad. Every seat has a dozen lil spider cracks.

Ok that being said this year reapolstering is out of the question (we are trying to adopt so money isn't so much tight but is other wise allocated) is there a slip cover out thereor any good ideas on simple cover ups or is towels on the seats just how we are going to roll this year (or float as I should say)

You will get much better answers about the seats from others than I can offer you.
I did want to say Kudo's and best of luck to you and the wife on the adoption.
I often wonder if Jimmy really did crack corn, and why should I care?

We actually made covers for ALL of our seats out of white terry-cloth. Cost less than $100, and now not only do you not stick to the vinyl, and not only do you not get the "hot seat" when they're in the sun, but we pop them off after every trip and throw the covers that need it, into the washing machine.

Sounds like a good idea even after we get the seats redone

I would recommend 303 products. I would definitely do the cleaner and then follow up generously with the protectant. It is an awesome product.

Great....I'd like to see those myself. Great and economical way to protect seats and add comfort!
