Pontoon related anniversary gift

#1 Post by WILD MAN » Thu Oct 03, 2013 4:37 am

Being the loving husband that I am I went all out to get my wife something special for our 32nd wedding anniversary. I figure what better way to bring us closer together and show her how much I care than to make her time on the water more comfortable and enjoyable . Whenever I find a good fishing spot she says “pull over to the dock so I can use the rest room”. So I think why not kill two birds with one stone, an anniversary gift for her and more fishing time for me. Somehow it didn’t go over as good as I thought it would. What do you guys think? Keep in mind that I did a lot of research and got the top of the line model and I don’t even make her empty it.

You may as well return it. Whenever your wife uses it, she will be reminded that the gift she received acknowledging 32 years of marriage was A TOILET. Agh!

Quick, go buy her something personal, pretty, & expensive and maybe she'll forgive and forget.

Your a much better husband than I am, I got her one of those toilet seats that snap on a 5 gallon bucket.

I did tie a rope to the handle so she doesn't have to bend over to empty it.

You know better than that you've been married for 32 years (BTW congrats on that) do as landlocked said but just put it away for later BUT GO GET HER A VARY NICE GIFT unless you like that chill in the air that you have been feeling. Some times us guys just aren't that bright.

That's a great gift for her birthday but anniversary I would have done something like a big bunch of flowers along with the pot.

I got Betty a 10ft step ladder for her birthday a few years back and she loved it as she was painting the outside of the house and needed it

After a day on the lake, I get more compliments about mine than any other feature on the boat. :biggrin2 Well, no one ever complained about the ice chests, either.

A man after my own heart.....
For my wife's 40th I got tickets to see our first NHL game. I think she likes hockey - well we're still together several months later.

Oh yeah, and nice toilet.
