Trailer Sitting In Storage

#1 Post by Liberty MO » Fri Nov 01, 2013 12:59 pm

I've got a heavy tritoon sitting on the trailer in a garage. It's going to probably sit unmoved from 9/1 to 5/1. Should i put this on jack stands to prevent the tires from sitting on the same spot or is this a non-issue?

it should not hurt but the jack stands are not a bad idea.

I jacked up and blocked my trailer yesterday, cuz i had a couple extra jack stands laying around. I did notice a flat spot on the tires, but those flat spots even out after a few miles down the road....so either way :donno

My boat is sitting in the boathouse. I think I'll put my trailer on jack stands, remove the tires and put them in the garage.

Hopefully the tires will last a season or two more, and I don't have to worry about someone running off with my new trailer that's not being watched.
