LED Bimini lights

#1 Post by babock » Thu Dec 19, 2013 4:26 pm

Thinking about adding lights to the bimini top. Was going to try and get the exact same ones that Benington uses if possible. Anyone know what they use or can provide a close up picture?

not for sure on the exact one, but you may try a bennington dealer and see if they can order a replacement one for you. I just ordered OEM docking lights, navigation lights and a horn that matches my South Bay fencing that I'm using on my build.

And welcome to the forum.

I don't know what kind of boat you have but if it's a Benny, they're built in to the cross-strut of the top frame. You can order that piece with the lights in it from a dealer.

I got some 12 LED strips off of ebay and swapped the tape strip for some Aircraft tape I had from another project. been up there about two years now. I wish I had used Amber LEDs now though, perhaps one day.
