Xcursion owners and possibly E-tec owners?

#1 Post by 68dodgeramman » Mon Jan 06, 2014 6:17 pm

Anyone know what these keys are for? We have a 2014 Xcursion 23RF with a 2013 Evinrude E-tec 150. They're aren't for the under council storage. We have different keys for that. When the dealer gave me everything I forgot what he said these were for. We were in a hurry, we had a long ride ahead of us before we would be home so I kinda rushed out, lol.

Might be to open the cap where your fresh water goes. If you have a sink. I have a 2013 with a fresh water tank and I have something similar to open it.

And when all else fails, check the manual or call the dealer.

Nope, not for the spare tire. Fresh water, maybe. Storage compartments, nope. I have different keys for those. Manual is in storage on the boat. As much as I hate to I'll have to call the dealer. Thanks for all the ideas everyone!

Did you ever find out were these keys went? I just picked up a new South Bay and had the same keys on my key chain.

Nope, I still haven't found out what they're for. I'll have to contact the dealership. The salesman never replied when I texted him the pic.

This is what the dealer emailed me today

That little key is for the radio antenna. If the rubber tip on the antenna comes off and the antenna slides all the way down into the helm, that key will allow you to get it out.

They look like round "high-security" type key blanks that never been cut.
