We enjoy our barge, but it has the upper sundeck at 16 ft by 8.5 ft. Its only 8.5 wide but the 230 hp I/O pushes it along pretty well. We stay out in weather all the other toons stay home in, but its still a toon!
Our trailer is used for winter storage and maintenance only - its a scissors trailer and a real handful with a topheavy toon.

Mooring is pretty easy because of the Volvo Duoprop drive. When I do my part, I can spin it around in its own length. Pretty hard to do with a single OB, but you should be able to come close.

Sounds like a nice toon; enjoy!! Hard to do better than a Playcraft, though...just need a big checkbook :thumbsup
