Welcome mate.
I see that others have already mentioned power assist. To dig a bit deeper, I see that your sales slip describes 'hydraulic steering'. That is good, almost certainly SeaStar (Teleflex). It could easily have assist on it already, although not guaranteed. If it doesn't, it is a relatively straightforward addition if you decide to do it later (although not cheap). If you do get into adding it later, one of the options to consider is 'auto pilot' which adds another grand to the price of the assist. Most people don't bother, but if you do a lot of cruising in open waters, it might be pretty sweet.

I used to love my jet boat (SeaDoo Challenger 20' with Opti 240). I really miss it, but not enough to go back in that direction. I like the pontoon world too much now.
One difference that you will likely notice with the Sweetwater over the Yamaha is that your 360 flat spin might be a bit lacking :lol3
Kind of tough to get a good 'submarine' out of those new big triples as well :biggrin2, although the older twin tubes have been known to dive under a wave or two

Thanks for the clarification on the assist Todd.. makes more sense now!

Appreciate all the comments.. looks like everyone are pretty much saying low 40's .. I will post back once she comes in and I can get her out (if this winter ever goes away :prayer !)

If your order states hydraulic steering, then it's NOT power assisted. I added it to our boat and glad I did. When my wife was with her 1st husband, they lived in Howell.

sdynak -
Welcome to the forums and congrats on the new boat! You'll absolutely love it! We sure do. I'm in agreement with most others here that you can look to run in the low to mid 40s.

But now I'm confused. What's the difference between power assisted steering and what I have(SeaStar Tele-Flex hydraulic steering)?

You can have hydraulic steering with or without the power assist pump. You don't have power assist steering unless the order explicitly states power assist steering. You can go here and read more about it http://www.seastarsolutions.com/products/hydraulic-new/
