I heard Jim/ Playcraft is building a twin pontoon with twin 700HP Merc I/O's, cant confirm it, but I would have to think, that would be around 90MPH. I would like to see that. JT
2002 playcraft extreme,26', I/O, 498 ci, 625 hp, 580 ft pounds of torgue, Dart alluminum heads, holly 850 carb, bravo XR drive. GPS 76 mph.

Have you seen this over on boatfreaks.org? It's only a single Mercury Racing 700, but I bet it will fly.

If it only goes 90mph, then why do it? It would be pretty much all show and no go.

I would like to know where Jim tests these at LOTO. It would be fun to watch.
