Hmph. Got another foot of snow yesterday. Bobcat is down. Plow truck is limping. Twenty below tonight. Forty inches of ice on lake. Been a long winter.
Edit: I hadn't been on the lake for a couple of weeks. Now that the snow has slumped some and the cold weather persists....aw crud...SIXTY inches.

We dodged a bullet and the storm that dumped on you just skirted south of us by a couple of miles. But I did see -29degC (-20F) this morning on the way to work.
Come on spring, it's time to come out of hibernation - I want to play on the water soon.

Saturday here was 66, Sunday 45, tomorrow we are supposed to get a light snow THEN long term forecast says warm (for good I hope). My boat is ready, fishing gear is stocked up and ready to go.

Washed and waxed the boat 4 weeks ago. My lift was installed and they finished that up last Thursday. Oil and filter changed on Friday and put her in Saturday morning. Rode around for 2-3 hours on Saturday as the sun was shining and the temps were in the 70's. Good to be back on the water but better yet, good to finally have a lift!
Sorry you snow birds are still fighting the winter blues but spring should be heading your way soon.

Ya sure about that? We just set another daily low record a day or two ago. -26. Supposed to hit thirty in a day or so. WooHoo! The girlies will be out watching their tip-ups in their bikinis

It was 50 at my place yesterday, and should be warmer today, but we still have four weeks of snow to look forward to. Blue Mesa Reservoir is still iced in, but should be clear by May 1.

and the Lord said who so forever believeth in me may move to Florida. Well, I do and I did. For us boating started here in north central Florida two weekends ago with a Mantanzas Inlet to St. Augustine ride. Last weekend we took a 20 mile cruise to Three Bananas restaurant in Crescent city.

Another Colorado low is heading this way......
We're possibly in line for 30-50cm of snow Monday into Tuesday. I have to laugh about this as the alternative is to go bat shit crazy and possibly get sectioned.
