Towing a Seadoo Behind My Toon...?

#1 Post by Mosnowman » Wed Mar 26, 2014 1:24 pm

Okay so I was wondering if anyone has made a home made one of these?

At $400 I think the price is pretty ridiculous for what looks like PVC and a couple clips? I really want to tow my Seadoo to the cove we hang out in but thought if I could make one of these things it would be a heck of a lot cheaper costing $50 bucks at the most! I understand the issue of clamping off hoses and feel it is worth it to be able to tow.

Thoughts?

I agree. Looks extremely easy to make.

buy your own clips, 3/4-1"pvc, rope needs rated at twice the weight of the item towed and preferable none stretch rope make your own save about 350 off those, you can wrap those pvc pipes with water insulation wraps from lowes then use wire tie wraps around those to holdem tight then they float, can get those in diff colors.
