Wanting to get some opinions on which parts to get
I am wanting to get a marine radio cover for my stereo. What are some of the brands that are recommended? I am wanting to get a cover for my pontoon boat (24' Suncruiser). I am wanting to use it when the boat is on the lake and when the boat is on the trailer. Any websites or brands you recommend buying it from? Thanks in advance for the help.

As far as a mooring cover, that is also towable, the stuff you find in the catalogs is probably not going to cut it. I just threw away what was billed as a towable cover, made from...polyester, I think. My boat is currently at the canvas shop getting a custom cover, guaranteed to be good for towing, as well as mooring in the slip. Cost: $1,250. It ties down to little metal loops on the edge of the deck, all the way around - no goofy straps under the toons or anything.

I didn't mean that I can drive highway speeds with it. Just something that works on and off the trailer. I don't care if I can drive with it or not.

What he say's x2. You have to spend good money or you'll just be replacing it in a few years and end up spending more money. Get a cover that does not use finger nail busting snaps. There are better ways to secure covers than snaps. Stop in at a Premier dealer and see how they do it (patented).BobG wrote:As far as a mooring cover, that is also towable, the stuff you find in the catalogs is probably not going to cut it.
