Uhh, ... the waiting game

#1 Post by zoom650 » Fri Apr 04, 2014 6:48 pm

The first estimated completion date we were given was this past March 31st. I had been figuring on the original date and was hoping to pick the boat up one day next week.

I got word today the date is now April 21st. Three extra weeks I'm made to suffer through! Arrrrgh! :drool

Then 7 - 10 days before arriving at my dealer, who needs 2 days to rig and Sharkhide the logs. So, that could be May 6 before I can pick her up.

The wife and I are so ready to get out on the water again!

Last year my dealer told me March 17, My boat finally arrived June 13! They said that there were "factory delays" and that dealer stock orders take higher priority than customer ordered ones. How screwed up is that?

I feel you pain. I'm also waiting on one from Tahoe. They told me originally 6 to 8 weeks. That would have made it the end of the first week in May........Dealer just called and said they would have it in now on the 20th or 21st of this month (April) and would have it rigged and ready to go on the 25th or 26th. If that actually happens then they would be good on their target date. It will have taken 7 weeks. We will see if it does arrive in 7 weeks. I will be happy with that.
