Anyone have a Sunstream V-lift

#1 Post by jheyen » Fri Apr 11, 2014 9:25 pm

I've been looking at the sunstream vlift for my 22' pontoon, but am having a difficult time finding many user reviews about them. I'm curious if anyone has one of these for thier pontoon and what they think of it.

I've heard of some issues with the pontoons cutting into the wires and problems if you are not in calm water. I'm in a row of slips and do get waves from boat traffic, but nothing too intense.

Thanks

The V lift looks like it's really built for a v hull boat--rather than a pontoon. The same company has another model lift that looks like it'd be better for a pontoon, and they claim that it's suitable for high wave areas.
