#1 Post by BobG » Wed Apr 16, 2014 8:18 am

Slowly, oh, so slowly.

Lake Fork Marina area of Blue Mesa Reservoir. Dang that's a lot of ice still! I'm hoping to put in, the first weekend of May!!!

Lucky you Bob..... I think our ice has got thicker again after the last couple of days - record breaking cold for this time of year.

WOW, I have never seen a frozen lake before. I'm just waiting on mine to come in so I can get on the water.

 Brilliant!

I can mount propane weed burners across the bow of my boat, and carve my way up and down the lake!

Actually, it IS about 48 feet low - and that's the best it's been since 2012. The runoff is just starting, and the lake will be rising over a foot a day in the next few weeks.

Big ol' Rainy is being a stubborn beotch. Still solid on the big water although some of the little back bays are starting to break up.
Hmph.
