What to use to hang/tie fenders over side of Tritoon ?

#1 Post by Rooftop777 » Sun May 11, 2014 1:40 pm

Hi all, I'm new and just bought a brand new G3 V322RC Tritoon.
What is best to hang and tie a mooring buoy, since hate to have to tie/untie it each time.
And would regular buoy do the job or should I buy bigger.

I have no websites to buy pontoon boating supplies in Canada......also if anyone knows of a good one...

thanks for any help you can offer,

Hey thanks for all the ideas !
I like the first type, doesn't look like any drilling or installation and can move them around.
The other EZ type look like you have to drill maybe.....
Just bought the Tritoon and don't want dock rash......lol

Keep posting ideas, since I need to buy something soon....we still have ice on lakes here........until this weekend...
thanks

I use the hangers that Coldbrew showed you. Got mine
at West Marine, odly same price as Basspro. No drilling,
but one of my fenders disappeared. old jim

Here's what I use on my toon:
http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product ... BING_31991
I had them on my previous boat for 13 years and had the dealer install them. Once you determine the length of line you need, you almost never have to mess with them except to occasionally retighten the mounting screws.
I will tell you that had I known about the EZ-Fenders before I put the Perko's on, I probably would have considered them.
