Installing a cover

Search didnt help, Im sure this has been addressed many times. I have a generic cover that straps around the frame. I have fought with this many years and thought I would ask if anyone has tips for easier install after boating. The best thing I can come up with is to try to roll it from back to front when removing so I can start at the front and work back reinstalling it. I usually end up with a tangled mess and end up cussing a bit. The boat is so tall on the trailer I have to install it from inside until I get it mostly on. Thanks for any tips or jokes,,Frank

Thats why i had a custom one made, i can snap it on from the ground or from the inside of the boat.

I have the same problem try rolling form the front to the back and folding the sides to the middle that way when you put it back on you work your way off the trailer, I also put J-hooks on the trailer so that I don't have to wrap the tie downs to the frame.

I found on mine I lay it from front to back on the boat then find the center snap and work around the boat from front to back. The marina I bought it from told me to start at the back were the bimini is and work around. I tried that it doesn't work as well for me. I have had the boat a week and can put it on by myself in about ten min my way. Good luck

Yeah, my system is roll back to front, then I can unroll it front to back to work off the trailer. I start with the yellow tag in the middle that says "front". I guess I get too impatient and always tangle it up. Im sure it looks like Im wrestling a giant python on there. Im going to be more careful and try to roll it better so it will unroll evenly.

Exactly how I do mine. roll it up front to back then fold it in half. That seems to make it more manageable to put back on back to front. Then strap it then put in the poles.
